After blending
S Set the rotary switch to 0/off.
S Rotate the blender in an anti clockwise direction
and remove.
S Rotate the lid in an anti clockwise direction and
remove.
Tip: It is recommended the blender is cleaned
immediately after use; see Cleaning and servicing".

NEVER immerse the base unit in water or place
under running water.
Warning!
Surfaces may be damaged.
Do NOT use abrasive cleaning agents.
Cleaning the base unit
S Pull out the mains plug.
S Wipe the base unit with a damp cloth. If required,
use a little washing up liquid.
S Then dry the base unit.
Cleaning the mixing bowl and
accessories

Risk of injury from sharp blades!
Grip the multi function blade and cutting discs by
the plastic handle only.
All parts are dishwasher safe.
Do NOT wedge the plastic parts in the dishwasher
as they could warp.
Insert the multi function blade with the opening face
down, ensuring that the blade does not damage any
other parts.
If processing e.g. carrots and red cabbage the plas
tic parts may become discoloured. This discoloration
can be removed with several drops of cooking oil.
Cleaning the blender

Risk of injury from sharp blades!
Do not touch the blender blades with bare hands.
Clean them with a brush.
To prevent ingredients from sticking to the blender
and corroding the plastic (e.g. by oils in spices), it is
recommended to clean the blender immediately after
use.
The lid and funnel are dishwasher safe.
Do NOT clean the blender jug in the dishwasher, but
under running water (do not soak in water).
Tip: Pour a little water and washing up liquid into the
attached blender. Switch on at setting M for several
seconds. Pour out the water and rinse the blender
with clean water.

Storing the appliance

S Pull out the mains plug.
S Attach the blender drive cover (2).
S Attach the bowl (5).
S Always store the multi function blade with the
blade guard attached (10).
S Stow the cord in the cord store.
If the appliance features an automatic cord winder:
S Pull gently on the cord and it will wind up automat
ically.

Troubleshooting

Risk of injury!
Before rectifying a fault, pull out the mains plug.
Bowl with accessories
Fault:
Appliance does not start, rotary knob (1) cannot be
turned: Electronic monitoring system has actuated.
Remedial action:
S Screw on the bowl as far as possible.
S Attach the lid of the accessory being used (filter
basket for citrus press) and screw on as far as
possible.
S Attach the blender drive cover. If the cover is de
fective or the safety pin has broken off, replace the
blender drive cover with a new one.
Blender
Fault:
Appliance does not start, rotary knob (1) cannot be
turned: Electronic monitoring system has actuated.
Remedial action:
S Attach the bowl and lid and screw on as far as
possible.
S Screw on the blender as far as possible.
S Attach the blender lid and screw on as far as
possible.
If other malfunctions occur, please consult our
customer service.

The guarantee conditions for this appliance are as
defined by our representative in the country in which
it is sold. Details regarding these conditions can be
obtained from the dealer from whom the appliance
was purchased. The bill of sale or receipt must be
produced when making any claim under the terms
of this guarantee.
