booklet.
The appliance is maintenance free.
The Instructions for Use refer to several models.
Differences are identified.
Please keep the Instructions for Use in a safe place.
If passing on the appliance to a third party, always
include the Instructions for Use.
Use the appliance with original accessories only.

Base unit
1 Rotary switch
0/off = Stop
M = Pulse switch (for maximum
speed hold down the rotary
switch)
Settings 1-2 = Operating speed
Setting 1 = Slowest speed
Setting 2 = Fastest speed
2 Blender drive cover
Attach when the blender drive is not in use (other
wise the appliance cannot be switched on).
2a Safety pin on the cover
3 Suction feet
Place the appliance on a smooth, clean surface.
4 Cord store
Stow the cord.
Some models with automatic cord winder.
Bowl with accessories / tools
5 Bowl
Attach and rotate as far as possible in a clockwise
direction (bayonet lock).
6a Lid
Attach lid (arrow on the lid on the arrow on the
handle) and rotate in a clockwise direction. Lid lug
must be located fully in the slot in the base unit.
6b Pusher (= measuring jug)
Push down food which is to be sliced or shredded.
6c Feed tube
Remove the pusher and add more ingredients.
If adding more liquid while the appliance is operating
or when shredding or slicing long or narrow
vegetables (e.g. leeks, carrots), use the narrow
opening.

Blender -
for some models
8 Blender jug
Attach jug (arrow on the jug on the arrow on the ap
pliance) and rotate as far as possible in a clockwise
direction.
9a Lid
Attach the lid (note position) and tighten in a clock
wise direction. The lid must be located fully in the
slot in the blender handle.
9b Feed tube
Remove the funnel and add more ingredients.
9c Funnel
Add more liquid.
The mixer is available via Customer Services.

Risk of electric shock!
Connect and operate the appliance only in accor
dance with the specifications on the rating plate.
Do NOT use if the cord or appliance is damaged.
Keep children away from the appliance.
After using the appliance, before cleaning the ap
pliance, if leaving the appliance unattended or if the
appliance malfunctions, ALWAYS pull out the plug.
Do NOT pull the cord over sharp edges or hot
surfaces.
To prevent injury, repairs such as replacing a
damaged cord, should only be carried out by our
customer service.
If the power is interrupted, the appliance remains
switched on and restarts when the power is
restored.
Change accessories and tools only when the
appliance is at a standstill (rotary switch on 0/off).

authority about current means of disposal.
