Deep bass extension

The cross-over units of these 
loudspeaker models feature a deep bass
extension circuit
distortion elimination feature.
The Criterion TCI 1 RE, TCI 2 E and
TCI 3 E models
supplementary
elimination circuit.
The net result is a general improvement in
the low bass, which is extended in
response, more powerful and more linear.
The separate stages of this circuit are
designed in such a way that the user can
easily adjust extreme bass reproduction to
suit the prevailing conditions in the
listening room.
The diagram below shows in schematic
form the effect of this circuit on the
Criterion TAL series models mentioned
above. For all other  loudspeakers the
bass response curve is fixed at the centre
line.
