Filling the water heater

Open the hot water tap(s).


Open the cold water tap on top of the safety unit (ensure the safety unit's drain valve
is closed).

Close the hot water taps after draining them. The water heater has been filled with
water.

Check if the connection is tight at the pipe sockets and if the hydraulic components
function properly by repeatedly opening the safety unit's drain valve to remove pos-
sible residues from the drain valve.

 Turn the power on to the water heater.
When you do so for the first time, the setting instructions will be displayed.

Follow these instructions carefully to make the respective settings
(Language, date and time, operating ranges, legionella-function, Full or partial
commissioning, Overview of settings).
In order to return to the settings later, please refer to Section "Installation parameters".
For initial heating, activate the BOOST function (irrespective of the set operating range).
