4.5. Amount of additional refrigerant
Upon installation, the external aggregate has been pre-filled for operating refrigerant lines
of maximum 15 m length. For longer lines of maximum 20 m, more refrigerant R410A
has to be added. The refilling is to be exclusively made by certified and qualified
professionals.

Amount to be refilled
Refilling refrigerant has to be made after flushing with vacuum pump and before opening
the external aggregate's valves.
• Disconnect the vacuum pump (yellow hose) and replace by a bottle of R410A in a
position suitable to refill liquids. Open the bottle tap.
• Refill the refrigerant as required in accordance with the above chart by using the
manifold tap.
• As soon as the value indicated on the scale has reduced by the additional amount of
needed for refilling, shut the valve at the yellow hose and then close the bottle
• Now put the device into service in the required order.
Exclusively use R410A!
Only use devices (manometer set) suited for R410A!
Generally fill in liquid phase.
Do not exceed length and maximum elevation.
• Record the amount added in the device's register and in the external aggregate's
plate (in the box respectively provided).
