4. Refrigerant line connection
All refrigerant lines are to be exclusively connected by qualified professionals,
certified in accordance with Ordinance 2007/737 and its by-laws.
We offer the respective service. In order to request suchlike commissioning
services, please make use of the form provided on the inside of the back cover
at the end of this manual.
Before connecting the refrigerant lines, fill the water heater with water to verify the instal-
lation does not leak (refer to Section "Filling the water heater").
PLEASE NOTE:
All refrigerant lines are to be thermally insulated in order to prevent burning and
ensure the device's best performance.
The external aggregate has been pre-filled with R410A for refrigerant lines of 15
meters length.
Warnings:
- Please dimension the refrigerant lines as short and
simple as possible to ensure the system's ideal length
of service life. All lines must be free from bends.
- Insulate both refrigerant lines separately.
- Exclusively use refrigerant R410A. Any mixing with
other gases or air is impermissible.
- Flushing the installation thoroughly with a vacuum
pump is absolutely necessary to ensure its proper
functioning as well as its reliability in the long run.
- Before starting the external aggregate, check if the 2-
and 3-way valves have really been opened. Operating
the compressor with closed units would damage it and
is thus not covered by our guarantee terms.
