This car set consists of 3 different car models with
digitally controlled functions. Function decoder in
the work car.

The 3 cars must be coupled together in a parti-
cular, fixed order in order for all of the controllable
functions to work: Crew quarters car – work car –
cable / equipment car.

This car consist was developed for operation
with the 6021 Control-Unit.
The following functions are available:
– Controllable lighting in the crew quarters car.
– Sound effects and visual effects for different
types of work can be turned on. There are a
total of 11 different combinations. The sound
and visual effects can be selected with a sepa-
rate button.
– The interior lighting in the cable / equipment car
can be turned on.
In conventional operation, in Delta operation or
in operation with the 6020 Central-Unit, the
lighting in the crew quarters car is on all of the
time. This lighting varies in brightness depen-
ding on the level of voltage in the track.
All other functions are off all of the time under
these circumstances.
These cars cannot be operated with other
operating systems.

Address range for the function decoder:
80 digital addresses.

The sound effects for the different types of work
should only be turned on the cars are stopped.
When the cars are in motion, interruptions in the
current to the decoder can cause the sound
effects circuit to revert to the startup phase.

The volume can be adjusted by means of a
potentiometer.
G
All you have to do to reach the coding switches
or the potentiometer is to open the jalousie door
on the work car.
No warranty or damage claims shall be accepted in
those cases where parts neither manufactured nor
approved by Märklin have been installed in Märklin
products or where Märklin products have been
converted in such a way that the non-Märklin parts
or the conversion were causal to the defects and / or
damage arising. The burden of presenting evidence
and the burden of proof thereof, that the installation
of non-Märklin parts or the conversion in or of Märklin
products was not causal to the defects and / or
damage arising, is borne by the person and / or
company responsible for the installation and / or
conversion, or by the customer.
