FAULT CLEARANCE

Before carrying out any repair work on the machine:
- Switch off the machine.
- Disconnect the AC power supply.
Motor does not start:
Motor switches off
during the work.
Motor is turning in the
wrong direction
Splitter does not
function although
motor is turning.
The firewood splitter is
working but is making
unusual noises or is
vibrating excessively.
Have your firewood splitter checked by a qualified specialist if the problem is not
corrected by these measures or if the problem is not covered in the table..
INSTRUCTIONS FOR PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT
Old electrical devices are work material; hence, they do not belong
in the domestic garbage! We, therefore, request you to support us
with your active contribution towards conservation of resources and
environmental protection and to dispense of this device at the arranged
places for return – if existent.
AC supply is interrupted.
Switch or connector is defective.
Motor has shut down because it
is overloaded.

The AC supply connection is too
long or has an insufficient cross-
section (<2.5 mm²).
Incorrect phase rotation.
Hydraulic valve has not opened
because of a loose connection.

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
Reconnect the AC supply.
Schalter bzw. Stecker ersetzen.
Wait 5 to 10 minutes until the
motor has cooled down and then
start the machine again.
Replace the AC supply connec-
tion with a cable having a cross-
section ≥ 2,5 mm
Change the position of the pha-
se rotation selector.
Tighten the loose connection.
Top up the hydraulic oil.
Top up the hydraulic oil.
