18. Stay alert
- Watch what you are doing and use common sense. Don`t operate tool when you
are tired.
19. Check damaged parts
- Before further use of the tool, a guard or other part that is damaged should be
carefully checked to detemine that it will operate properly and perform its intended
function.
- Check for alignment of moving parts, binding of moving parts, breakage of parts,
mounting and any other conditions that may affect its operation.
- A guard or other part that is damaged should be proberly repaired or replaced by an
authorized service center unless otherweise indicated elsewhere in this instructions
manual.
- Have defective switches replaced by an authorized service center.
- Don`t use tool if switch doesn`t turn it on and off.

- The use of any other accessory or attachment other than recommended in this
operating instruction may present a risk of personal injury.
21. Have your tool repared by an expert
- This electric appliance is in accordance with the relevant safety rules repairing of
electric appliances may be carried out only by experts otherwiese it may cause
considerable danger for the user.
Special safety instructions for wood splitting
• Observe the warning labels on the machine. Do not remove the warning labels.
• Check that the safety system is in full working order before starting work.
• The machine has been constructed so that it can be operated by one person acting
alone. Do not allow any other person to hold the wood while it is being split.
• Set up the firewood splitter on a flat and firm working surface before starting to use it.
Ensure that you have sufficient room to move about.
• Use the firewood splitter only in dry surroundings. Never use the firewood splitter in
rain.
• Before starting work in a closed room, make certain that it is free from gases, smoke
and flammable fumes.
• Check that the machine and the AC supply connection cable are undamaged before
starting work.
• Check that all moving parts are functioning correctly and not jamming and that no part
or parts of the machine are damaged.
