4.3 Operating elements and connections of the receiver and the earphones

13 Earphones
14 Connection plug
3.5 mm stereo plug for connecting the earphones input
on the receiver.
15 Earphones input PHONES
3.5 mm jack for connecting the supplied earphones.
16 On/off switch and level control
By turning the control clockwise, the receiver is switched
on and the volume for the earphones can be adjusted. By
locking the control into place at the left stop, the receiver
will be switched off.

Reception antenna
18 LCD
Indicates all function of the transmitter (
4.3.1 Display on the receiver).
19 Battery compartment for two 1.5 V batteries
20 Battery indicator
Lights up when the batteries are going flat. The receiver
switches off automatically within a short time.
21 RF indicator
Lights up when an audio signal from the transmitter is
received.
22 Button ESC
To exit the setting menu.
23 Buttons D and E
• For switching over a function and for increasing (P) or
reducing (E) a value in the setting menu.
• For adjusting the balance, i.e. the volume ratio between
the left and right earphone.
24 Button SET
For calling the setting menu, for selecting the menu item,
s. section
and for confirming the adjustments made.
