► Follow the instructions regarding the length of the screws and about
how to secure the screws.
INFORMATION
Note the position of the Harmony E2 vacuum pump in the prosthesis. The
vacuum pump must not bump against the prosthesis or project beyond the
flexed prosthetic knee joint. Use the 4R153=1 adapter plate with offset if
you require greater lateral clearance (see fig. 10, see fig. 11).

710D4 Torque Wrench, 636K13 Loctite® 241
1) Position the adapter plate on the lamination disc with the desired align­
ment (see fig. 7).
2) Set the chosen socket adapter onto the adapter plate (see fig. 8).
3) INFORMATION: Secure the screws with Loctite®.
Insert the screws through the socket adapter and the adapter plate into
the lamination disc and, in diagonal sequence, tighten them using a
torque wrench (mounting torque: 12 Nm) (see fig. 9).
5.1.3 Optional: Installing the Intake Hose
An intake hose only needs to be installed if the lateral connector of the
adapter plate will be used.
1) Connect the intake hose to the lateral connector of the adapter plate.
2) Run the intake hose to the intended connector of the prosthetic socket
and connect it.

6 Maintenance

► A visual inspection and functional test of the prosthetic components
should be performed after the first 30 days of use.
► Inspect the entire prosthesis for wear during normal consultations.
► Conduct annual safety inspections.
7 Disposal
This product may not be disposed of with regular domestic waste in all juris­
dictions. Disposal that is not in accordance with the regulations of the coun­
try where the product is used may have a detrimental impact on health and
