– If the motor was started using the cold start
aid.
Push the cold start lever (3) back to the starting
position.
Switching the motor off
CAUTION! Device damage! Before
switching the motor off, switch off any
connected consumers and disconnect
from the device (unplug).
Figure 6 – Page 4
– Set the ignition switch (10) to OFF.
– Set the fuel tap (4) to OFF.
Connecting the consumers
WARNING! Risk of injury! Before con-
necting consumers check to see whether
all electrical equipment, including cable
and plug connections are in good working
order.
WARNING! Risk of injury! Make sure that
you only connect consumers that are
switched off.
CAUTION! Device damage! The overall
load of the connected consumers must lie
within the nominal load, otherwise dam-
age to the device may occur (Technical
data – Page 51).
Note: Make sure that the plug of the con-
sumer fits into the corresponding socket
of the device. If a consumer does not run
properly, pull out the consumer plug from
the power supply of the device immedi-
ately.
Note:
The extension cable must have the follow-
ing minimum cable cross-sections:
• up to 60 m length, minimum of
1.5 mm²
• up to 100 m length, minimum of
2.5 mm²
Rubber-coated cables (IEC 60245-4,
DIN VDE 0282-4) of type H05 RN-F must
be used.
Alternating current connections
Figure 1 – Page 3
The alternating current connectors (14) of the device
are intended to be used to operate consumers that
use 230 V and require alternating current (50 Hz)
(Technical data – Page 51).
– The connec-
tion cable of
the consumer
should be
wound 2 or 3
times around
the bar of the
device.
When the motor is running or at operating tem-
perature
– Insert the plug of the consumer into one of the
AC connectors (14) of the device.
Safety devices
Overload protection
Note: If the permissible load limits are
exceeded, the overload protection of the
device is automatically triggered. The cir-
cuit-breaker switch is ejected and the
electrical supply of the consumer is inter-
rupted.
Figure 7 – Page 4
After triggering the circuit-breaker:
– Eliminate cause of overloading.
– Activate the circuit-breaker switch (13).
Switch position to:
ON = Circuit-breaker active
OFF = Circuit-breaker triggered
Cleaning and maintenance
WARNING! Risk of injury!
Prior to conducting maintenance or clean-
ing:
– Switch the motor off.
– Allow the device to cool down.
– Pull out the spark plug connector.
