Substantial modifications

No changes and modifications of any kind may be performed
on the quick-change jaw system and the mounting (base jaw,
grooves and T-nuts).
In the case of the turnable soft interchangeable inserts (PEW),
the limiting by the safety line must be complied with.

2.5

Personnel qualification

Assembly and disassembly, commissioning, operation and repair of
the quick-change jaw system may be performed only by qualified
specialists who have been instructed with respect to safety.
All persons who are assigned to operate, maintain and repair our
chuck must have access to the operating manual, especially the
chapter "Fundamental safety instructions".
Persons in training may be assigned to machines and technical
equipment in which a chuck with a quick-change jaw system is
mounted only if they are under the constant guidance and
supervision of qualified specialists.
2.6

Personal protective equipment

Using personal protective equipment
Not wearing personal protective equipment while working with
the product, may result in dangers that impact the personnel's
safety and health.
• While working with the product, observe the health and safety
regulations and wear the required personal safety equipment.
• Observe the valid safety and accident prevention regulations.
• In case of sharp edges and corners and rough surfaces, wear
protection gloves.
• In case of hot surfaces, wear heat-resistant protection gloves.
• When dealing with hazardous substances, wear protection
gloves and goggles.
• In case of moving parts, wear tight protection clothes.
