When installing the module, take precautions to avoid
electrostatic charges (ESD - Electrostatically Sensitive
Devices).
Install or remove the module only when the power is off.
Before installing the module, please read the manual "M7-
300 (M7-400) Automation Computer, Hardware and
Installation" thoroughly.
Operating the CP 1401 on the AUI interface is only
permitted via a fan-out unit with its own power
supply.
Only one CP 1401 communications processor can be
used in an M7 computer.
In an M7 module (M7 CPU, M7 FM, EXM) no IF 962
LPT interface module with I/O address 278
(normally LPT 2) can be operated at the same time
as a CP 1401.
