If you want to use the PC network "Novell Personal Netware"
with ODI drivers, you must make manual adjustments before
and after installation.
Before installing Novell Personal Netware follow the steps
below:
Step
1 Go to the \odi directory on product diskette 2/2 of the
CP 1401.
2 Copy the file UPPSMLID.EXE from this directory to
UPPSMLID.COM (the same file is then available under
two names).
After installing Novell Personal Netware, follow the steps
below:
Step
1 Change to the Novell Personal Netware directory on
your M7 computer (for example NWCLIENT).
2 Rename the file UPPSMLID.COM calling it
UPPSMLID.EXE.
3 Check the file NET.CFG to see whether it contains the
correct port address and correct PC interrupt.
