Notes on operation
• To avoid possible smoke development during grilling, remove all grease residues
before grilling.
• Make sure that no greasy juices accumulate on the appliance. In the event of a
grease fi re, do not use water to extinguish the fi re, as this may damage the burner
module. Close the gas cylinder valve immediately.
• Rub the grill surface with vegetable oil to prevent food from sticking to it.
• After use, switch off the appliance with the control knob and close the valve on the
gas cylinder.
• Make sure that the appliance has cooled down completely before cleaning,
moving, covering or storing it.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

CAUTION
Risk of fi re and burns! Allow the grill to cool down and close the gas
supply to the gas cylinder regulator before carrying out cleaning and
maintenance work on the appliance.
Cleaning
• "Burning off" the gas grill after every use (for approx 15 minutes) will keep
excessive food residue to a minimum.
• Clean your gas grill after each use. DO NOT use abrasives or fl ammable
detergents as they may damage parts of the appliance and cause a fi re. Clean the
gas grill with warm soapy water.
Outside surface of the gas grill
• Use a mild detergent or baking soda dissolved in hot water to clean the outside
surface of the grill. For stubborn stains, a non-abrasive cleaning powder can be
used, which should then be rinsed off with clear water.
Interior of the grill bottom
• Remove residues with a brush, scraper and/or cleaning pad and a soap solution.
Then rinse the inside with clear water and let the grill dry.
Plastic surfaces
• Clean plastic parts with a soft cloth and a hot soap solution and then rinse with
clear water. Do not use abrasive cleaners, degreasers or a concentrated grill
cleaner on plastic parts.
