CONNECT GAS CYLINDER

• This appliance is only suitable for the use of low-pressure butane or propane gas
cylinders which are equipped with a suitable low-pressure regulator via a flexible
hose. The hose should be attached to the regulator and the appliance with hose
clamps.
1. If the diameter of the injector is Ø 0.77 mm, the gas grill is designed for
operation with a 28-30 mbar regulator with butane gas, a 37 mbar regulator
with propane gas or a 30 mbar regulator with butane, propane gas or their
mixtures.
2. If the diameter of the injector is Ø 0.70 mm, the gas grill is designed for
operation with a 50 mbar regulator with butane, propane gas or their mixtures.
• Use a suitable controller certified to BS EN 16129:2013. Please contact your local
gas bottle dealer for information on a suitable regulator for the gas cylinder.
Regulator and hose
• The hose and regulator are not supplied with the appliance. Only a hose that
complies with the national regulations of the country of destination must be fitted
to appliance. In addition, a regulator with the appropriate outlet pressure for the
country of destination must be installed. The regulator must comply the requirements
of EN 16129:2013.
• The use of the wrong regulator or hose is unsafe. Always check that you have the
correct accessories before operating the gas grill.
• The hose used must conform to the relevant standard for the country of use.
• The length of the hose must be 1.5 metres (maximum).
• Worn or damaged hose must be replaced.
• Ensure that the hose is not obstructed, kinked, or in contact with any part of the gas
grill other than at its connection.
• The gas supply hose should be checked periodically and should be replaced
damaged and at least every two years.
Storage of the appliance
• The Storage of the appliance indoors is only permissible if the cylinder is
disconnected and removed from the appliance.
• When the appliance is not to be used for a period of time it should be stored in its
original packaging and stored in a dry dust free environment.
Gas cylinder
• The gas cylinder should not be dropped or handled roughly! If the appliance is
not in use, the cylinder must be disconnected. Replace the protective cap on the
cylinder after disconnecting the cylinder from the appliance.
• Cylinders must be stored outdoors in an upright position and out of the reach of
children.
