Maintenance of the BestWater system

Service and maintenance

So that your BestWater system func-
tions reliably for a long time and deliv-
ers qualitatively good water, it is nec-
essary to service the system regularly.
During the annual maintenance, the
general condition of the system is to
be examined, in addition, the following
activities are to be carried out:
Check the hose couplings that lead
to the BestWater system (in case
of any detected cracks or kinks, the
hoses must be replaced).
Check the plug and/or crimp con-
nections (damaged ones and those
where cracks are detected are to be
replaced).
Measuring of the air pressure if
necessary adjusting (only in the empty
state and with closed stopcock).
Greasing of the elastic seals (replace
porous seals).
Filter change (see as follows).
Disinfection (see as follows).
Have the work that is required for
the maintenance of the BestWater
system carried out by a compe-
tent and authorized installer (e.g.
gas water plumber) who has the
necessary equipment (among other
things Air compressor) and who
supports you with helpful hints.

The filter Change
The prefilters are the preliminary stage
to the membrane and protect this to
a special degree. So it is necessary to
change the filter units regularly.
This is also one of the warranty condi-
tions. Therefore, please observe the
periods for the filter change. To change
the pre and/or the postfilter, refer to
the Image for help and proceed as fol-
lows:
1. Take the water consumers
connected to the reservoir tank
out of operation (only with Jungb-
runnen 66-11).
2. Close the stopcock on the res-
ervoir tank (only with Jungbrun-
nen 66-11).
The stopcock is closed if the rotary
lever of the stopcock is transverse to
the hose.
