Information for induction hobs
Please note that induction is a very rapid heat
source. Never heat up a frying pan when it has no
contents, as overheating can damage the cook-
ware. Cooking at a high temperature may produce
a humming noise. This noise occurs for technical
reasons and does not indicate that your hob or
frying pan is faulty.
The frying pan base diameter and the hob size
must match. If not, especially for smaller base di-
ameters, it is possible that the hob (magnetic field)
will not react to the base of the frying pan.
Information for glass ceramic hobs
Do not pull or push the cookware across the hot-
plate, as this may scratch the glass ceramic hob.
Keep the cooking area clean, as residue between
the base of the frying pan and the cooking area
can scratch the glass ceramic surface.
Information for gas hobs
Never use a gas flame that is larger than the diam-
eter of the frying pan base.
Make sure that the flames do not come up the
sides of the frying pan as this can damage the
plastic handle.
