Cleaning and care instructions
• After use, rinse with hot water as soon as
possible.
• Soak stubborn food residue and gently remove
with a soft sponge or brush.
• To remove really stubborn food residue, boil a
little water and washing-up liquid in the frying
pan.
• Please do not use steel wool or abrasive scour-
ing agents.
• You can clean frying pans with a Fusiontec
surface in the dishwasher. This can lead to
discolouration of the plastic handles and the
surface, but it does not impair the function. We
therefore recommend cleaning by hand.
• Dry the frying pan thoroughly before storing it.
• Stack the frying pans inside each other, so that
the handles sit on the rim.
Preparation instructions
Low-fat frying
When frying with fat, always put the fat into cold
frying pans and then heat it up on a high heat.
Distribute the fat evenly by rotating the pot. When
streaks appear in the fat or it starts to smoke
slightly, add the unseasoned meat to the frying
pan and press it onto the base. Turn down the heat
on the hob. Wait until the protein has coagulated

and the pores of the meat are closed. As soon as an
appetising crust has formed, the meat will detach
itself from the base and you can turn it easily.
Dab the food carefully before you fry it. to avoid
hot oil splashes. Do not overheat the fat.
Fry for 8-10 minutes on each side with the lid
closed. The cooking time depends on the size and
type of the food.
With this type of cooking with a closed lid, meat
fries in its own juice and requires little fat.
Be careful with hot fat.
Deep-frying
Fill the frying pan no more than half way with
suitable fat.
Do not use a lid. This prevents burns caused by fat
frothing over.

Fusiontec frying pans from WMF are suitable for
all kinds of hob and are available in sizes that are
suitable for domestic use.

For more efficient energy use, the hotplate diame-
ter on electric hobs must match with the diameter
of the frying pan:
