Overview of 4-Post Rackmounting and Setup Steps
Task
Unpack the server, the ship kit,
and the rackmounting kit.
Check that you have the required
parts for rackmounting.
Install the inner glides on the
chassis.
Prepare the cabinet.
Locate the mounting holes.
Install the slide assemblies into
the cabinet.
Install the server into the cabinet.
Install the cable management arm.
Connect the power cords.
Connect a twisted-pair Ethernet
(TPE) cable.
Restore the cabinet.
