Datenaustausch zwischen DP−Master und AS−i−Slave
Beispiel für eine Konfiguration
Bild 2−2 zeigt ein Beispiel für die Adressierung von 4 AS−i Slaves durch den
PROFIBUS−DP−Master. Im DP−Master wird die Anfangsadresse m = 0 für die
E/A−Daten verwendet.
Die für das Anwenderprogramm relevanten Bits vorhandener AS−i Slaves sind
grau hinterlegt. Die weiß hinterlegten Bits sind für das Anwenderprogramm ohne
Bedeutung, da hier keine AS−i Slaves zugeordnet sind.

In obigem Bild belegt z. B. das 2E/2A−Modul (AS−i Slave Nr.3 mit zwei Eingängen
und zwei Ausgängen) die Bits 0 und 1 im Eingangsbyte 1 und die Bits 2 und 3 im
Ausgangsbyte 1.
Die Zuordnung der AS−i Anschlüsse der AS−i Busmodule zu den Datenbits der
Ein−/Ausgangsbytes ist nachfolgend exemplarisch für Slave Nr. 3 dargestellt:
