Automatic Cooking

With the help of the automatic programme you can cook certain
quantities of food automatically. Please proceed as follows:
1.
Press the STOPP button.
2.
Set the desired programme number using the rotating
ZEIT/AUSWAHL button.
3.
Press the GEWICHT/UHR button until the approximate
weight of the food to be cooked appears. Please see the fol-
lowing table for the possible settings.

To start cooking press the START button.

Automatic Defrosting

To automatically defrost frozen meat, poultry and deep-frozen
food proceed as follows:
1.
Press the STOPP button.
2.
Press the AUFTAUEN button.You are now in the defrost
programme.
3.
Continue turning the rotating ZEIT/AUSWAHL button until
the desired defrosting time appears.
4.
To start defrosting press the START button.

Tip: place the bread and pastries on kitchen crepe paper to take
up the moisture; only defrost sensitive pastry slightly.

Tip: remove the aluminium foil and stir halfway through; whip the
cream until it is semisolid.
Grill
For grilling please use the grilling grid. Use suitable heatresistant
tableware or place the food to be grilled directly on the grid.
It is not necessary to "pre-heat" the grill as the infrared grill pro-
duces radiation energy immediately.
To grill and gratinate food, proceed as follows:
1.
Press the STOPP button.
2.
Press the GRILL/KOMB button once.
3.
Set the desired grilling time between 10 seconds and 60 mi-
nutes using the rotating ZEIT/AUSWAHL button.
4.
To start cooking press the /START button.

within the preselected time in the ratio:
60% microwave
40% grill

Press the GRILL/KOMB. button twice.

Set the desired cooking time between 10 seconds and 60
minutes using the rotating ZEIT/AUSWAHL button.
4.
To start cooking press the START button.
Tips on Combined Operation
If you prepare food using the combined microwave-grill functions
you should note the following:
For large, thick foods such as roast pork the microwave time is
correspondingly longer than for small, flat foods. However, in the
case of the grill it is the other way round. The closer the food
is to the grill, the faster it turns brown. This means that when
