TROUBLESHOOTING

In the highly unlikely event of a fault, we recommend you
contact your supplier.
Possible faults:
There is a flame effect and the fan in the
mantelpiece is working but no heat is emitted
from the mantelpiece.
The thermal cut-out may have been activated. Once the
device has cooled down, the fire will generate heat again.
If the device is activated again straight away and the
heating element switched off, you should contact your
supplier.
The appliance is not working at all.
Remove the plug from the appliance and check that there
is nothing wrong with the two fuses in the mains input. If
the fuses have gone, fit new ones (2x 8 Ampere slow fuses)
and replace the plug. If the fuses blow again, contact your
supplier.
Never, use a fuse of more than 8 Amperes,
for any reason whatsoever, as this could have
serious consequences in the event of a
short-circuit.
The fire no longer responds to the remote control:
Perhaps the batteries in the remote control are dead.
Replace them with new ones and if this does not resolve
the problem then contact your supplier.
