3 Installation
The Reader is designed for wall mount. Four Holes are provided in the housing for wall attachment
(d=7mm (.27"), measurement 60x182mm). The housing does not need to be opened for installa-
tion on a wall (see Fig. 3-1). The size and type of the screw anchors depends considerably on the
strength of the wall. The anchors should be capable of withstanding a permissible load of at least
1.5 kN per anchor for all load directions (Undersurface steal e.g. cylinder head screw M5 steal zinc
coated DIN 84 / ISO 1207, property class 8.8 or concrete, stone e.g. plastic anchor 6mm with wood
screw DIN96 d=4mm). The maximum size of the screw head is 8.5mm (0.33")
