DC current measurement / AC Current measurement
Attention!
Do not take measurements in the 10 A range for more than 10 seconds.
Continuous use of more than 10 seconds can damage the measuring
device and/or the test cable.
Note:
After a current measurement, it takes a few seconds for the display to
return to zero. This effect results from the true RMS function and is
normal.
1. Switch off the power source and open the circuit to be tested at the
position you are going to measure the current.
2. For measurements up to 9999 µA (600,0 mA) set the rotary switch to the
µA (mA)-Position and attach the pin-plug of the red test lead to the
Multi-function jack.
3. For measurements up to 10 A set the rotary switch to the A-Position and
attach the pin-plug of the red test lead to the A-jack.
4. With the function key SEL you switch between DC current measurement
and AC Current measurement
5. Turn on the current and touch the measuring points with the test tips.
6. Once the
