Data hold
If the reading could not be read during measurement due to difficult operation
the „HOLD"-button (2.4) could be pressed to freeze the display reading.
1. Press the „HOLD"-button to freeze the display reading.
2. The display shows the „HOLD"-symbol to indicate the activated HOLD
function.
3. Press the „HOLD"-button again to return to standard operation.

Backlight

To turn the backlight on or off, press for two seconds the button (2.4).
(automatically switches off after 1 Minute(s))
Point Illumination (Torch light)
In low light conditions, you can illuminate the point. To do this, press for two
seconds the button (2.3).
(automatically switches off after 15 Second(s))

Auto power off

If no further measurements are carried out, the device switches off
automatically after 15 minutes.
Press the SEL/V.F.C button (2.1) while you turn on the device. This
disables the automatic shutdown.
Automatic range selection / manual Range selection
By pressing the "RANGE"-button you can select the range manually:
To return to automatic range selection, press the RANGE (2.2) button for two
seconds.
DC Voltage measurement (DC) / AC Voltage measurement (AC)
1. Set the rotary switch to the position V
After switching on, the device is in DC mode. To get into AC mode, press
the SEL/V.F.C button.
2. Attach the pin-plug of the black test lead to the COM-jack and the
pin-plug of the red test lead to the multi-function jack.
3. Touch the measuring points with the probe tips.
