10 Programming GRIPKIT
10.1 Setting up the Application
To implement an application based on GRIPKIT, you must first set up the application. To
do this, open the „Installation" tab on the teach pendant and select the GRIPKIT instal-
lation page. First, set up the gripping modules used in your application, then configure
the grips.
10.1.1 Setting up the gripping modules
The „Setup" tab allows you to configure the logical gripping modules used in the ap-
plication.
These are activated by checking the box „enabled". You can use up to eight gripping
modules in your application. Assign a name to each gripping module using the „Capti-
on" field to facilitate the assignment later in the robot program (for example, „Blank
gripper"). You have to assign a physical gripping module to each activated logical grip-
ping module via the „Assigned Device" selection list. The selection list shows all grip-
