Microphone input control "MIC LEVEL"
Using this control, you can set the input level of the microphone.
In the position "0", the volume of the microphone is lowest, in the position "10" high-
est.
(2) Input control GAIN
With these rotary controls, you can adapt the mixer inputs to the output level of the
source of signal concerned (record player, CD player etc.).
Position "0" = mixer input is very insensitive
Position "10" = mixer input is very sensitive
Correct adjustment of the control is described in the section "commissioning".
(3) Output level control "MASTER"
Using this control, you can set the mixer output level (MASTER).
Position "0" = minimum level
Position "10" = maximum level
(4) Attachment holes
You can fix the mixer for desk mounting in these 4 attachment holes.
(5) Headphone volume control "CUE LEVEL"
Using this control, you can set the volume of the headphones.
Position "0" means minimum volume, position "10" means maximum volume.
Turn the control to the left stop "0" before plugging the head-
phones in or out, or switching the microphone on or off! Otherwise
there is the risk of sudden excessive volume at the headphones
output.
(6) Control "CUE/PAN"
Using this control, you can switch on the playback channel on the headphones.
In the position CH1, the signal, which lies on the CH1 fader channel, is reproduced,
in the position CH 2 the Signal, which lies on the CH2 fader channel.
At the intermediate stages of the control, the signals of the CH1 fader channel and
the CH2 fader channel are reproduced mixed proportionally on the headphone out-
put.

Commissioning
Only put the device into operation when you have become familiar
with the features and these operating instructions. Check all con-
nections for correctness once again.
Do not listen to excessively loud music for long periods of time as
your hearing may be impaired. This applies in particular to listen-
ing to music through headphones.
Switching mixer on/off
Non-observance of the order described in the following when
switching the mixer on and off could damage the loudspeakers or
the amplifier.
Switching on
• Make sure that all channel faders are adjusted to the minimum volume (channel
fader right down).
• Switch on the reproduction devices first which are connected to the mixer.
• Switch on the mixer using the switch "POWER", the operating indicator will light up.
• Switch on the connected amplifier and the recording device (connected to the
RECORD jacks). This device is now ready for operation.
Switching off
• To switch off the mixer, turn the volume on the amplifier first of all to a minimum.
• Switch off the amplifier.
• Then switch off the mixer using the mains switch POWER (24) and then the repro-
duction devices (record player, CD player etc.).
• If you do not require the mixer for a longer period, pull out the plug-in power unit
from the socket.

Select input

Select the desired inputs using the input selection switches "PHONO1 LINE1" and
"PHONO2 LINE2".
Minimise the volume using the corresponding channel fader
before an input selection switch is changed over. Due to the dif-
ferent volumes of the input sources, sudden, excessive volume
could otherwise be the result.
