Activated carbon filter change
( only for hoods with circulating air operation , C-version )
Activated carbon filters bind odorous substances contained in kitchen fumes. Depen-
ding on the strain, these filters must be replaced or regenerated after 3 months at the
latest. The activated carbon filter is mounted with a frame to the left and right of the
fan module in the upper hood body. The metal grease filter must be removed before
changing. Then turn the locks by 90°, lift the activated carbon filter and pull it out dia-
gonally to the front. Pull the lateral filters to the middle and pull them out as well. The
installation is carried out in the reverse Rhine sequence.

Regeneration
Regeneration takes place in a prehea-
ted oven (200°C) and takes 1-2 hours,
depending on the odorant load. Before
regeneration, clean the activated carbon
filter with a damp cloth.
Danger of burns !
Do not remove the activated carbon
filter from the oven until it has cooled
down. This can lead to unpleasant
odours in the oven !
Never use pyrolysis function !
Important: The activated carbon filter
must not be cleaned wet. See separate
manual "Activated carbon".
