To achieve precise measurement results, the measured object must be greater than the infrared measured
surface of the M2Temperature.
The temperature determined is the average temperature of the surface measured. The smaller the
measurement object is, the shorter the distance to the M2Temperature must be.
For precise measurements, the measured object must be at least twice as large as the measured area.

Cleaning of the infrared sensor lens

Blow away loose particles with clean compressed air. Remove remaining dirt carefully with a soft brush.
Wipe the surface carefully with a damp cotton ball (only moisten with clear water).
Do not use any corrosive chemicals, cleaning solutions or strong
cleaning agents for cleaning.
