18 Expansion Variants of the Mobile Terminal

18.1 2D scanner
There is a 2D scanner available for the mobile terminal. The scanner is on top of the housing under the disk.
ACD Elektronik GmbH has developed a scanner driver/scanner service to activate the scan module. The
program and detailed documentation and the development files are available from ACD Elektronik GmbH.
The table below contains the typical read distances of the 2D scanner:

18.2 Camera

There is a 5 MP auto-focus camera with flash/lighting on the rear side of the mobile terminal.

18.3 WLAN/BT-compatible short-range radio

Optionally integrated into the mobile terminal is WLAN according to IEEE 802.11/a/b/g/n and BT-compatible
short-range radio according to BT standard V3.0 + HS.
