In order to interrupt the production, press any key of the keyboard of the active group.
 If the coffee production in the continuous mode is not terminated manually, the production only
stops when the maximum quantity is reached (ca. 1 l).
5.4.

Producing hot water

 You can prepare as many different portions of hot water as there are groups on the machine..
1. Press the hot water key once for a single portion, or twice for a double portion of water. The key
stays lit during the production and the display shows the symbol for water production.
2. When the limit for the preset time for the water production is reached, the production stops
automatically. The display continues to show the symbol for water production for another 5
seconds.
3. In order to interrupt the production, press any key of the keyboard of the active group.
5.5.

Producing steam

Danger of burning and scalding! The dispensed steam is very hot.
 After each steam production, activate the steam wand for another 2-3 seconds in order to clean
the wand's inside
 Clean the wand with a damp cloth after each utilization.
 In order to produce steam, the water/ steam boiler must have reached its final functioning
temperature (ca. 122º).
In order to produce steam, turn the corresponding knob for steam production.
In order to stop steam production, close the knob.
OPTIONAL TURBO STEAM
 The Compass MB is available with the TURBO STEAM optional that provides assisted steam
production
 Machines with Turbo Steam feature two Turbo-Steam-buttons on the left side (see image below).
 You can choose between two different types of steam: Normal steam and steam with air injection
(for assisted production of milk foam)
