When the machine is in ON-mode, all keyboards light up.
The green signal light for the pump turns on, showing that the machine has started the automatic water
filling of the boilers. When the signal light turns off, an orange signal light turns on, showing that the
heating of the water/steam boiler is in progress.
 The water/steam boiler takes ca. 15-20 minutes until it has reached its final working temperature
of 122ºC (preset).
 The coffee water boilers take ca. 2 minutes until they reach their working temperature of 92ºC
(preset)
 The groups take ca. 12 minutes until reaching the final working temperature of 92ºC.
Press key 5 on each group and shortly let water run through the groups. Press key 5 again to stop the
water. This procedure makes sure that the machine is supplied with water.
6. In order to turn off the electronic board, press key 5 and then key 3 on group 1 (leftmost) or press
the ON/OFF symbol on the touch screen display.
7. In order to switch off the machine, press the ON/OFF button on the machine's front.
5.2.

Producing Coffee

1. Fill the porta-filter with the correct dose of ground coffee.
2. Use a tamper in order to distribute the ground coffee evenly in the porta-filter.
3. Insert the porta-filter into the group, turning it to the left until it is fixed.
4. Place a cup (or two, if you use a double porta-filter) beneath the group.
5. Press the key that corresponds with the portion you want to produce. The group starts the
production. The selected key stays lit during the entire production, the display shows the
production.
In order to interrupt the production, press any key on the keyboard of the active group. This interrupts
the production immediately.
5.3. Produzir café na modalidade de contínuo
Press key 5 on the keyboard of the group you want to activate. The production process starts ca. 5
seconds after pressing the key. Key 5 stays lit while the production is in progress.
 IMPORTANT: In the continuous mode, the production process starts ca. 5 seconds after pressing
the continuous key (key 5).
