Menu item
Setting area: function description
Hyst. for boiler block 0 ... 5 ... 50 K: the boiler block is activated if the system
setpoint is measured at the buffer top sensor (TB1).
If the temperature of the buffer cylinder falls below the
set temperature minus the value set here (switching
differential) for a certain period (Boiler release
wait.time), the conventional heat source is released.
Boiler release
0 ... 60 ... 240 min: if the switching differential
wait.time
(Hyst. for boiler block) is undercut for the duration set
here, the conventional heat source is released.
Notes:
The waiting time until boiler release is reduced to
15 minutes if no rise in temperature of the alternative
heat source is detected following release.
If the alternative heat source is not in operation
(e.g. summer phase), the setting Heat source > Config.
blocking mode in the customer menu can be adjusted
(e.g. Never).
Blocking output
EMS: the conventional heat source interlock is applied
selection
via a BUS connection. The heat source must support the
interlock via EMS plus.
EV: the conventional heat source interlock is applied via
terminal OEV (EV/I3 connection at heat source).
Config. of
N/C: contact is open during an interlock and closed
block.terminal
when the conventional heat source is released.
N/O: contact is closed during an interlock and open
when the conventional heat source is released.
1) Can only be adjusted if Blocking output selection is set to EMS, control unit
Logamatic MC110 / MX25 from V1.44. Conf. DHW blocking mode only possible
from MC110 V1.45, in older versions this must be deactivated or "Blocking
output selection=EV" set.

Diagnosis menu

Which menus, information or values are available depend on which system
has been installed. Observe the technical documentation for the heat
source, control unit, additional modules and other system components.
Function test
If a AM200 module is installed, the menu Function test > AHS type is
displayed.
The function of the devices connected to the module can be tested in this
menu. The pump in the return of the alternative heat source can be
selectively switched on/off, for example.
Monitored values
If a AM200 module is installed, the menu Monitored values > AHS type
is displayed.
You can call up information on the current status of the devices
connected to the module in this menu. You can display the flow and
return temperature of the alternative heat source here, for example.

Troubleshooting
Use only original spare parts. Damage caused by the use of spare parts
not supplied by the manufacturer is excluded from the warranty.
▶ If a fault cannot be rectified, please contact your local service
engineer.
The status indicator at the coding switch shows the operating condition
of the module. Additional status indicators are:
[1]
Alternative heat source
[2]
Bypass valve/heating circuit pump
[3]
Buffer cylinder
[4]
Block of conventional heat source
These status indicators only become valid after the configuration wizard
has been exited and the setting of all other menu items have been made.

Remedy
▶ Turn on the mains power supply.
▶ When the power supply is
switched off, replace the fuse
( Fig. 18 at end of this
document).
▶ Check BUS connection and
repair if necessary.
▶ Turn the module off and back on.
▶ Adjust the coding switch
▶ Check temperature sensor.
▶ If values do not match, replace
the sensor.
▶ Check voltage at temperature
sensor terminals in the module.
▶ If the sensor values match but
the voltage values do not,
replace the module.
▶ Replace the module.
Normal Operation
