2.0 Expansion vessel
The integrated expansion vessel serves only the control elements of the unit.
Therefore an expansion should be installed in pressure pipe to increase the life
expectancy of the pump.
Depending on the type the expansion vessel has a different system pressure:
PROFI SC 9-90; 14-90; 25-60; 25-80
2.1 Installation of level sensor (
If the level sensor is installed, the Hirschmann-plug of the float switch must
be clamped from the unit. Otherwise the unit does not run correctly.
Installation of the pressure sensor allows displaying the filling level of the storage tank on
the control panel. The unit can be commissioned without pressure sensor.
2.2 Installation of electrical connection
During electrical installation the general regulations must be followed. The
electrical installation is to be executed by electrical specialists. The entire
electrical supply has to be 400V~/50Hz three-phase. The connection must be
protected by an earth leakage circuit breaker with 30 mA fault current. Please
choose overcurrent protection with 20 A.
• Connect the power line of system (5 x 2.5 mm ²) in accordance with the above regulations
firmly to the supply network.
- If during the commissioning does not match the direction of rotation indicated
on the pump direction of rotation of the pump, the two phases must be
swapped on the power line. Thereby the direction of rotation of the pump
changes also.
2.3 Volt free outlet
You can connect visual and acoustical warning/
display devices as break or closing contact over
the supplied „Hirschmann-Plug". That way eventu-
al faults can even be transmitted over long
distances.
