1.3 General notes

• This unit has to be installed in accordance with the state of the art especially with the
technical guidelines such e.g. BS EN 1717.
• The unit has not been tested for the use in an industrial environment.
- If required please ask your local contract partner /distributor.
• Do not fill in/feed inflammable and/or explosive media, foodstuff or sewage water.
• The following installations or modes of operation are not permitted:
- open-air installation outside of enclosed rooms,
- installation in wet cubicles, e.g. bath rooms etc.,
- installation in rooms subject to frost hazard.
• During electrical installation the general erection regulations must be followed.
• The electrical installation is to be executed by electrical specialists.
• Connect the mains plug only after:
- having installed the unit properly,
- having checked all connections for leaks.
• The plug at the rear of the unit is only for connecting of supply pump.
• No cost will be accepted resulting from improper installation or operation!
• No warranty claims will be accepted if the installation and operating manual is not
followed!
• No warranty claims will be accepted if the unit or its components have been
transposed!
• Marking
At the main inlet of the mains water supply a sign has to point out that a rainwater
harvesting system has been installed in the building. All appliances using rainwater
have to be marked "non-potable water".
• For further questions, indications for operation and appliance of the unit
please refer the operating manual.
No financial liability will be accepted resulting from improper installation
or operation.
