Inclined plane levelling
The picture below shows an example of
levelling on an inclined plane. The laser line
has been inclined (refer to the Modes section
above) to create an even inclined plane.
The laser line can be inclined up to 5°.
Laser viewing glasses
The laser enhancement glasses improve the visibility of the laser line in situations
where it is difficult to see it, such as in bright light conditions or over long distances.
Note:
Laser viewing glasses must not be used as safety glasses. They make it easier to
see the laser beam but do not protect eyes from radiation.
Laser viewing glasses must not be used as normal sunglasses or in street traffic.
They do not protect against UV-radiation and impair colour perception.

Calibration check

If you wish to check the accuracy of the laser level, do so in the following way:
1. Make sure that you have a free field of sight of about 20 m.
2. Place the instrument onto a tripod or other stable surface.
3. Aim the "X" mark at the target point and switch the laser
level on.
Note: Depending on the lighting conditions, you may need
to use the line feature or receiver to mark the position of
the laser line on the wall/target surface.
4. Mark the position of
the laser beam on the wall/
target surface (A).
7. Measure the distance (H) between point (A) and (B).
8. If the distance between the points is less than 4 mm the instrument is within
its tolerance limits. If the distance is greater, the instrument should be sent to
an authorised service centre for calibration.
5. Starting from the "X" mark, rotate the head of
the laser level 180°.
6. Mark the position of the laser beam (B).
