22 Troubleshooting

Malfunctions can occur with any electrical equipment. This is not necessarily due
to a defect. As such, you should check the following table to see if you can
eliminate the problem yourself.
Malfunction
No power
No response from
RELAX
Remote control does
not work, or only works
sporadically
No sound or poor
sound
Alarm does not work.
Insufficient Wi-Fi signal

Possible cause
Power cable is not
properly connected.
There is an error in the
RELAX.
Distance to RELAX is
too large.
Battery is empty.
Sound is turned off.
Headset is plugged in.
RELAX is not set to the
correct playback
mode.
FM/DAB or Internet
reception is poor.
There is radio
interference.
Alarm is not activated.
Alarm volume is set
too low.
The router is too far or
blocked.
Solution
Connect the power
cable properly.
Disconnect and
reconnect the power
plug. Then turn RELAX
on again.
Reduce the distance
between the remote
control and RELAX.
Replace the battery.
Adjust the volume.
Pull the headset out of
the jack.
Select another
playback mode.
Extend/adjust the
FM/DAB antenna or
check the Wi-Fi
connection.
Keep RELAX away
from other electronic
devices.
Activate the alarm.
Increase the alarm
volume.
Place RELAX closer to
the router or adjust the
position of the Wi-Fi
antenna.
