18 Troubleshooting

Malfunctions can occur with any electrical equipment. This is not necessarily due
to a defect. As such, you should check the following table to see if you can
eliminate the problem yourself.
Malfunction
No power
No response from

Remote control does
not work, or only works

Possible cause
Power cable is not
properly connected.
There is an error in the
sonoroSTREAM.
Distance to
sonoroSTREAM is too
large.
Battery is empty.
Sound is turned off.
Headset is plugged in.
sonoroSTREAM is not
set to the correct
playback mode.
FM/DAB or Internet
reception is poor.
There is radio
interference.
Alarm is not activated.
Alarm volume is set
too low.
The router is too far or
blocked.
Solution
Connect the power
cable properly.
Disconnect and
reconnect the power
plug. Then turn
sonoroSTREAM on

Reduce the distance
between the remote
control and
STREAM
Replace the battery.
Adjust the volume.
Pull the headset out of
the jack.
Select another
playback mode.
Extend/adjust the
FM/DAB antenna or
check the Wi-Fi
connection.
Keep sonoroSTREAM
away from other
electronic devices.
Activate the alarm.
Increase the alarm
volume.
Place sonoroSTREAM
closer to the router or
adjust the position of
the Wi-Fi antenna.
