5.1 2-cycle function of the trigger

6 Operation

1 Lay the cable assembly connected to the machine side out straight.
2 Insert the wire in the wire feeder as specified by the manufacturer.
3 Press the "Current-less wire feed" push-button at the wire feed unit until the
wire emerges from the contact tip.
NOTICE

• The ABIMIG WT welding torch must only be operated by qualified
personnel (in Germany, see TRBS 1203).
• Please also consult the operating instructions for the welding
components, welding power source and welding torch.
Using a standard welding torch, the two-cycle mode of the trigger can be
activated. Further operating modes and handle modules depend on the
corresponding welding power supply and must be ordered separately.
1 Press the trigger on the handle and keep it pressed = welding is started.
2 Release the trigger = welding is stopped.
1 Open the shielding gas cylinder.
2 Switch on the power source.
3 Switch on the coolant recirculator.
4 Rinse the shielding gas lines.
5 Start the welding process by pressing and holding the torch trigger.
