4. DESCRIPTION OF THE FAN COIL UNITS

The YORK fan coils are units for heating and cooling application; they are fed with hot and
cold water and used according to their respective performances features.

Fan coil units are components of the heating and/or cooling systems, consequently, they
are without any safety devices on the water circuit. These units have been designed for
temperature until 85 °C. When you want to connect the fan coil to the condensing unit in

cooling mode, it must be ordered with a direct-expansion coil (optional upon request). The
fan coils can be installed on wall, on floor (with optional feet) or concealed.

Enclosure 2 shows the possible configurations of installation.

The technical data directly referred to the unit purchased are shown on the identification
tag located at the internal side of the machine (Fig.1). Technical specifications (standard)
concerning installation and use of fan coil units are listed on the Enclosures 3 of this manual.
