ensure that the outstation clock does
not drift outside of an acceptable tol-
erance. If the option to relate this to

3. Device Trouble Bit IIN1.6:
If IIN1.6 device trouble bit is set
under certain conditions, explain the
possible causes.
4. File Handle Timeout:
If there is no activity referencing a
file handle for a configurable length
of time, the outstation must do an
automatic close on the file. The time-
out value must be configurable up
to 1 hour. When this condition
occurs the outstation will send a File
Transport Status Object (group 70
var 6) using a status code value of
file handle expired (0x02).
