more charged the battery is. If the LEDs do not light up when the button is pressed, the battery is discharged.
Disconnect the battery from the tool. The battery is secured in the tool socket by means of a latch. The battery can be removed by
pressing and holding the latch and then pulling the battery out of the socket. A battery which is correctly installed in the tool socket
cannot be removed other than by pressing the latch.
Slide the battery into the charger socket (II).
Plug the charger into a mains socket.
The red LED will light up, which indicates the charging process.
When charging is complete, the red LED will turn off and the green LED will light up to indicate that the battery is fully charged.
Pull the charger plug out of the mains socket.
Pull the battery out of the charger socket by pressing the battery clamp button.
Caution! If the green LED lights up when the charger is connected to the mains, the battery is fully charged. In this case, the
charger will not start the charging process.
Installing the tube with compound
Warning! All installation, removal or adjustment activities related to the extrusion compound tube must be carried out with the
battery disconnected.
Warning! The outlet of the compound tube should be opened before installing the tube in the extrusion gun holder. Follow the
instructions of the tube manufacturer. The use of the extrusion gun with a closed tube can damage the extrusion gun and/or lead
to compound leakage from the piston side.
Press and hold the button disconnecting the piston drive (III). Pull the piston by hand as far as possible (IV).
Place the tube with the compound in the holder. First, insert the tube into the front of the holder, and then push the back of the
tube into the holder (V). Press and hold the button disconnecting the piston drive, insert the piston so that it rests against the tube
piston (VI).
Starting and stopping the tool
Make sure the on/off switch button is not pressed, then insert the battery into the tool socket (VII).
Grasp the tool with both hands, point the tube outlet at the compound application spot, and then press and hold the on/off switch
(VIII). After a short while the compound should start coming out from the tube outlet. The tool piston pushes the tube piston, there-
fore you need to make sure that the piston holder does not catch on any obstacle.
Releasing the pressure on the on/off switch stops the piston and also causes it to retract slightly. This eliminates the pressure on
the tube piston, which prevents further compound leakage from the tube outlet.
The tool has a sensor which stops the movement of the piston when it reaches the fi nal position (IX). This prevents the tool from
being damaged by attempting to drive the piston further.
Caution! If, after pressing the on/off switch, no compound is coming out of the tube outlet, and at the same time there are signs of
overloading of the tool: increased noise and excessive vibrations, the pressure on the on/off switch must be released immediately.
Disconnect the battery pack from the tool socket, then check the tube outlet for correct opening or blockage caused, e.g., by the
hardened compound. The tube outlet should be unblocked before resuming work.
Compound extrusion
The tool is equipped with a rotary regulator which allows for a smooth adjustment of the piston movement speed. The higher the
setting digit, the higher the piston speed. This allows you to set the intensity of the compound application. The piston speed should
be selected experimentally by testing the compound application.
It is recommended that the tube outlet be as close as possible to where the compound is applied. The outlet of the tube should be
guided with a smooth motion, avoiding changes of tempo, which will allow to obtain even distribution of the extruded compound.
When the on/off switch is released and the piston is retracted, a small amount of compound may still escape from the tube outlet.
This is a normal phenomenon, associated with the inertia of the compound in its liquid state.
Residual risks
The machine has been designed and built according to good construction practices and safety principles. However, there may be
residual risks when using the product.
Health hazard related to the electric power supply due to the use of improper power cords.
Noise hazard related to failure to use hearing protection.
Residual risks can be minimised by strictly following the safety instructions.
MAINTENANCE AND OVERHAUL
CAUTION! Remove the battery from the machine's socket before performing adjustment, technical service or maintenance activ-
ities. If contamination of the tool with the extruded compound occurs, the contamination must be removed before the compound
