Freezing and storing food

Purchasing deep frozen food

Packaging must not be damaged.
Use by the "best before" date.
Temperature in the supermarket freezer 18 °C or lower.
If possible, transport deep frozen food in an insulated
bag and place quickly in the freezer compartment.

Storing frozen food

To ensure good air circulation in the appliance, insert the
freezer drawers all the way.
Preferably freeze large quantities of food in the top
compartments, where food freezes particularly quickly
and therefore also gently.
Do not cover the ventilation slots on the rear panel with
frozen food!
If a large quantity of food is to be placed in the freezer
compartment, the food can be stacked directly on the
glass shelves and in the bottom of the freezer
compartment. To do this, open all freezer compartment
flaps and take freezer drawers out of the appliance.
Pull out the freezer drawers all the way, lift at the front

and remove.
To insert the freezer drawer with telescopic rails,

the rails must be pulled out.
Open freezer compartment flap, hold one of the
D
bearing pins and remove flap.
