Appliance self test
Before you call customer service, conduct a self test on
the appliance.
Switch off the appliance and wait 5 minutes.

Keep the door closed during this time.
Switching on the appliance.

At the same time, press the setup button

for 5 seconds.
The self test programme starts. Various messages
appear in the facia one after the other.
If an error is established during the appliance self test,
the
symbol appears in the fascia and an error
l
message (e.g. B.
= sensor error) is displayed.

Inform the customer service of these error messages.
If no error is established during the appliance self test,
the preset temperature appears in the fascia after the test
has ended.
Water filter
!
Risk of severe illness and death!
Do not use the appliance in places where the water
quality is risky or not sufficiently known about with
out suitable disinfection, before and after filtering.
A filter cartridge for filtering particles can be obtained
from customer service or a GAGGENAU specialist dealer.

Important information concerning
the water filter
After use, the water system is subject to low

pressure. Be careful when removing the filter!

not been used for a long period, or if the water tastes
or smells unpleasant.
In addition to this, draw water from the water dis
penser for several minutes. If the unpleasant taste
or smell persists exchange the filter.
Exchanging the filter cartridge
Turn the filter cap on the base of the appliance

by 90-180° anti clockwise and remove the filter
cartridge.
Take a new filter cartridge from the packet and
D
remove the protective cap.
Take the filter cap off of the used filter cartridge and
D
place it onto the fresh filter cartridge.
