3. Make sure that a safety RCD Residual Current Device is installed to prevent
electric shocks or fires.
4. Be sure the air conditioner is grounded.
In order to avoid electric shock, make sure that the unit is grounded and that
the earth wire is not connected to gas or water pipe, lightning conductor or
telephone earth wire.
5. In order to avoid injury, do not remove the fan guard of the outdoor unit.
6. Do not operate the air conditioner with a wet hand. An electric shock may
happen.
7. Do not touch the heat exchanger fins. These fins are sharp and could result
in cutting injuries.
8. Do not position objects, which could be damaged by humidity, under the
appliance. Condensate can form if the level of humidity exceeds 80%; the
drain outlet is blocked or the filter is dirty.
9. After a long use, check the unit stand and fitting for damage. If damaged,
the unit may fall and result in injury.
10. To prevent the lack of oxygen, ventilate the environment adequately if the
appliance is used along with appliances fitted with burner.
11. Organise the drain pipe in a way to ensure regular condensate draining.
Incomplete drainage can cause damage to the building, furniture, etc. due
to humidity.
12. Do not touch the internal components of the electric box.
Do not remove the front panel. Some parts inside are dangerous to touch,
and a machine trouble may happen.
13. Never expose little children, plants or animals directly to the air flow.
Adverse influence to little children, animals and plants may result.
14. Do not allow a child to mount on the outdoor unit or avoid placing any
object on it.
Falling or tumbling may result in injury.
15. Never press the button of the remote controller with a hard, pointed object.
16. Do not use the appliance if insecticide gas has just been sprayed in the
room or in the presence of burning incenses, chemical vapours or oily
residues.
17. In case of replacement of parts, use only original OLIMPIA SPLENDID parts.
