4.3.4.2 - Connection of the digital inputs (Di)
This is a volt-free contact for any parameter setting. As a
default, input DI1 is set for the detection of an open window
(WS) and input DI2 is set for on/off and presence detection
(PD) with the Aquasmart System Manager. The maximum
length of the contact loop is 30 m.

4.3.5 - Controller supply

The controller supply is from the network:
230 V a.c. (± 10 %) 50 Hz or 60 Hz.
The connection is made on the supply connector. The
connection cable section must be calculated, based on the
maximum capacity of the terminal unit to which the
controller is connected.
The quality and the installation must comply with the
recommendations of standard IEC 60364. For the connection:
- This is made to the supply connector.
- Strip the supply cable wires and then insert them in
the cable conduit.
- Connect the wires as shown below:

The operating principle of this terminal block is the same
as that for connector J2 described earlier. Complete the
procedure by tightening the two cable tightening screws.
CONNECTION TO THE PROTECTION CIRCUIT
(EARTH): The earth supply cable ensures the continuity
of the protection circuit. It must always be connected to
the terminal unit at the earth terminal provided.

4.3.6 - Output connection

The controller is supplied installed and connected to the
terminal unit actuator output devices (valves, electric
heater, fan motor assembly etc.) via an appropriate cable
loom. No additional connections are required.
For maintenance ensure that the connections are tagged
before disassembly.

4.4 - fuse characteristics

Refer to the typical fuse location in the NTC box shown
open in the following diagram:
F1 5 mm x 20 mm, 5 A, fast-acting, ceramic body,
complies with IEC 60127-2 FAST;
e.g. LITTELFUSE 216005.P or equivalent
F2 5 mm x 20 mm, 1 A fast-acting, complies with IEC
60127-2 FAST
e.g.: SCHURTER 0034.1516; LITTELFUSE 217001.P
or equivalent. F2 fuses are only available on the
optional indoor air quality (IAQ) board.
