Problem
Power switch is in the off
position.
Illuminator is not plugged
into the power supply.
Power supply is not plugged
in.
Lamp does not Faulty Lamp
light.

Possible Cause
Verify the power switch is in the on
position. Refer to manual.
Verify that the illuminator is properly
plugged into power supply cord.
Verify the power supply is properly
plugged into the outlet.
Replace with a new lamp.
Verify that the lamp is secured into the
illuminator.
Verify that the lamp is a REF 08800
Welch Allyn lamp.
Inspect the lamp and the o-ring for
damage. Replace with REF 08800
lamp if damage is found.
Inspect retention wings for damage.
Replace illuminator REF 78800.
