Portable ladders are widely
used work tools, both at indu-
strial and family-use level.
Each ladder must be used only in
accordance with the
instructions of the manufacturer.
Only one operator at a time is
allowed to climb up the ladder.
Do not use a double shears
ladder as a support.
Do not tie up more ladders
together or add extensions to
the side frames to increase the
lenght of a ladder.
Ladders can be used to climb
up to scaffoldings or mobile
towers only if they can bear the
weight of the user and any
potential material (see specifi-
cations).
In the ladders where the stabili-
zation base is foreseen (pict.2
pag.7) it has to be absolutely
mounted.

Die HandIeitern sind weitver-
breitete Arbeitswerkzeuge, die
sowohl im Beruf als auch im
Haushalt eingesetzt werden.
Jede Leiter darf nur in der vom
Hersteller angegebenen Weise
verwendet werden.
Es darf jeweils nur eine Person
auf die Leiter steigen.
Eine Doppelleiter (sogenannte
Scherenleiter) darf nicht als
Abstützung verwendet werden.
Die Länge der Leiter darf nicht
durch die Verbindung von
mehreren Leitern bzw. die
Anbringung von
Verlängerungen erhöht werden.
Die Leitern dürfen zum
Besteigen von Gerüsten oder
fahrbaren Türmen nur verwendet
werden, wenn ihre Tragfähigkeit
ausreichend ist, um das Gewicht
des Benutzers und des evtl. tran-
sportierten Materials zu tragen
(siehe techn. Merkmale).
An den Leitern, für die eine sta-
bilisierendeBasis vorgesehen
ist, (foto 2 seite 7) muss diese
unbedingt montiert werden
